The new SuPCIS-L8 warehouse management system modernizes intralogistics.

The electrical wholesaler Bernhard Wohlfarth GmbH & Co. KG (BeWo)—part of the Bruder Group—has commissioned Element Logic to implement the SuPCIS-L8 warehouse management system at its Pfullingen location. The goal of the project is to replace the existing system and ensure efficient logistics processes in the long term. The project will begin in the second half of 2026. The go-live is scheduled for early 2027.

Setting the Course for Further Growth

At its Pfullingen facility, BeWo operates a large warehouse with various manual storage areas. These include shelving racks with dynamic storage, high-bay racks, storage areas for long and bulky goods, as well as storage spaces for cables, photovoltaic components, household appliances, and bulky goods. There is also a solar warehouse, an outdoor warehouse for specialty product lines, and storage for batteries in secure containers. The existing warehouse management system will be replaced by SuPCIS-L8 in the future. With the introduction of the new solution, the company is modernizing its system landscape and laying the foundation for further growth.

»In Element Logic, we have found a strong partner with a deep understanding of the needs of the electrical wholesale industry. Thanks to the existing interface with our ERP system, SHCWare, seamless integration is guaranteed. The experienced team is implementing the project efficiently and with a clear focus on results. »With the new warehouse management system, we are sustainably increasing the efficiency of our logistics processes,« says Stephan Kurtze, Managing Director of BeWo. Element Logic and the Bruder Group have been working together for several years and have successfully implemented various consulting projects.

Implementation in line with existing processes

Element Logic is focusing on a near-standard implementation. This approach is based on on-site process analyses and workshops, during which existing workflows were documented and aligned with the software’s standard functions. The new solution will provide digital support for core warehouse processes such as goods receipt, order picking, shipping, and cable planning, while taking existing structures into account. It will also control the conveyor system and cross-docking processes. A key component of the project is integration into the existing IT landscape. The warehouse management system will be connected to the ERP system via an existing interface to ensure seamless material flows from order receipt through to delivery. The project has also met with broad approval at the operational level. Employees at the site view the new solution as a sensible enhancement of their existing work processes. The consistent focus on proven workflows ensures high acceptance and facilitates the transition during ongoing operations.
