Floralux relies on FIS again for Floralux cloud project

08.05.2026

When moving to SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, the Belgian wholesaler continues to rely on the master data tool FIS/mpm.

Belgian flower and plant wholesaler Floralux is once again relying on FIS Informationssysteme und Consulting GmbH for its migration to SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. The company continues to trust FIS/mpm for its master data management, thus consistently extending its existing collaboration.

The contact between Floralux and FIS was established in 2020 through the Belgian SAP partner Delaware. During their SAP implementation at that time, Floralux was looking for a solution that would precisely meet the master data management requirements of a medium-sized company. They chose FIS/mpm.
With its current move to SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, Floralux is building on this collaboration and, as part of its cloud transformation, is relying on the Material Master and Business Partner tools for master data management. A key factor in this decision was that FIS/mpm is also available for the public cloud and can reliably meet Floralux’s specific requirements.

These requirements arise directly from the company’s business model. Floralux is one of the leading flower and plant wholesalers in Belgium and continuously processes new product-related information from auctions and digital platforms. To make the data quickly and structurally usable in SAP, FIS/mpm handles key tasks in master data management. These include, in particular the import of supplier and material master data, as well as the transfer of data from the online platform into structured worklists.

»Our requirements for master data management are driven by our business complexity and volume. With the move to SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, it was important for us to continue with a solution that fits our processes and supports our cloud strategy. FIS/mpm has proven to do this reliably, which is why we are continuing our existing collaboration«, said Nico Smet, CIO at Floralux.

By renewing its decision to use FIS, Floralux is laying the foundation for efficiently processing a high volume of items and further automating master data-related processes. At the same time, the company is underscoring its move to the cloud and continuing to rely on its proven partner FIS for master data management.
