Dematic and Vocollect see excellent joint opportunities for Voice

With the certification of Dematic GmbH as a Solution Provider for voice-based technology solutions from Vocollect, Dematic and Vocollect have extended their global partnership network. This now includes Europe, America and the Asia Pacific region.

As the leading systems integrator for intralogistics, Dematic supports its customers both in the implementation of Voice in the SAP EWM/LES environment, as well as integration into proprietary WMS solutions. In the SAP environment, a Dematic GmbH in-house development, the Dematic subdriver Voice, permits the direct linkage of Vocollect voice terminals with SAP. In this solution, the entire business logic is configured within SAP. A small electronic component replaces the server that would normally be necessary. With its Dematic Voice Manager, Dematic also offers a solution for companies using other ERP or WMS.

On numerous occasions already, Dematic has demonstrated its expertise in realizing Vocollect Voice solutions. Among the most notable Dematic voice-based implementations are the solutions for Corporate Express in Canada, Ezibuy in New Zealand and Inex in Finland. At Inex alone, around 1.000 mobile workstations have been converted to Voice.

Dematic and Vocollect are already exhibiting jointly at various trade shows this year. For example, at LogiMAT in Stuttgart and at Transport Logistics in Munich where, for the first time, Dematic is presenting itself as a Vocollect Solution Provider.
