New graphical network user interface, product genealogy for batch-managed materials in SAP Extended Warehouse Management and Simplified blocking and deletion of personal data using SAP Information Lifecycle Management

Highlights in this release are:

• New graphical network user interface
  The successful graphical network user interface is now set on a new foundation by using HTML5 and JavaScript to replace the Microsoft Silverlight plugin used in SAP Global Batch Traceability 1.0 and 2.0. This enables multi-browser support for our customers and removes the dependency on proprietary technology.
• Product genealogy for batch-managed materials in SAP Extended Warehouse Management
  SAP Global Batch Traceability 3.0 enables batch traceability for all batch-managed materials in SAP Extended Warehouse Management 9.5 as well as the traceability of handling units for batch-managed materials. Traceability data can be directly integrated via service interface. Goods issue, goods receipt, packing, unpacking, repacking, or moving handling units is then reflected in SAP Global Batch Traceability. This enables our customers to trace handling units from purchasing via production to delivery including repacking events.
• Simplified blocking and deletion of personal data using SAP Information Lifecycle Management
  SAP Global Batch Traceability 3.0 now supports data retention management and restricted access to personal data through the support of SAP Information Lifecycle Management. Blocking of personal data for unauthorized users at the end of the residence time period as well as destruction of data at the end of the retention time period according to rules established in SAP ILM is now supported.
