Fusion of the companies of the iFD Group

With the start of the new year, we are also joining forces and merging the companies of the iFD family under the umbrella of iFD GmbH to form a new, high-performance partner for IT-supported intralogistics systems.

With the merger of iFD GmbH (Chemnitz), DLS GmbH (Chemnitz) and iFD digiplant GmbH (Munich), we are uniting all the competence centres of the iFD Group and bundling the entire value chain of our products and services into a single strong brand.

In this way we enable a uniform and consistent process certification according to ISO 9001:2015,
a centralisation and streamlining of our administrative processes
and faster and more targeted product and project development,
from which above all our customers and business partners benefit. Almost 80 employees will support our more than 200 customers with the familiar high quality, competence and passion in the operation, development and control of challenging intralogistics processes.

For our customers and partners, the qualified and proven service will remain the same. Your contact persons including all contact details will also remain the same. Our location in Munich will remain and become the office of iFD GmbH. In addition, all employees of the former DLS and digiplant can be reached by e-mail under the domain @ifd-gmbh.com.

Legal succession
The merger of the three companies will take place within the framework of a merger in accordance with § 2 No. 1 of the German Transformation Act (UmwG). As a result of the merger, iFD GmbH will enter into universal succession pursuant to § 20 para. 1 no. 1 UmwG, whereby legal obligations and claims of iFD digiplant GmbH, Munich as well as DLS GmbH, Chemnitz will be fully transferred to it.

Please note that the technical conversion will take place in January 2021 and that communication during this transitional phase may take place under the old and/or new company name.

iFD GmbH is registered in the Chemnitz Commercial Register under the number HRB 28992 and will be represented in future by the following managing directors:
