KNAPP builds up its leading role

New 3.8 version of KiSoft WMS in Q1/2009

KNAPP, a worldwide leading provider of logistics technology, announced the new 3.8 version of the Warehouse Management System KiSoft WMS for Q1/2009, which will set the standards with regards to scope of function and technology at PROMAT (Chicago, 12-15 January 2009) and LOGIMAT (Stuttgart, 3-5 March 2009). KiSoft WMS 3.8 is the successive development of version 3.7, has been proven by over 4,000 users, and offers among other things, the following highlights

  • Over 100 new standard features for different industries, especially for retail and food logistics, logistic service providers (3PL), manufacturers and pharmaceutical wholesale
  • Optimal integration of new warehouse technologies such as automated storage and retrival system (AS/RS), conveying equipment, automatic guided vehicle (AGV), etc.
  • Expansion of the supported system environments and high-availability (Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista, Oracle RAC, server virtualization, etc.)

Additionally, in Q1/2009, new versions of add-on products will be introduced, for example: KiSoft MIS (Management Information System) with over 100 new reports on WEB, KiSoft Track & Trace for the material flow from loading on the ramp up to the goods recipient (incl. GPS positioning)
