Geodis Logistics boosts its international development on the retail and consumer goods' market with IT solutions from Generix Group

Generix Group, vendor of Collaborative Business solutions, announces 100 new features in its Generix Collaborative Supply Chain range. To mark the occasion, Geodis Logistics, number 4 in logistics services in Europe, testifies to the role of innovative IT solutions in its international development on the retail and consumer goods' market, which represents €380 million, or 35% of its turnover.

By boosting this collaboration, Generix Group consolidates its position with logistics and transport providers.

Geodis accelerates its development on the FMCG Retail market

Already present on the retail and consumer goods' market (FMCG/Retail), Geodis Logistics strengthens its expertise on this market with a range of IT solutions based on the Generix Collaborative Supply Chain (GCS) suite by Generix Group. Geodis Logistics thus has access to all products in the GCS range, as well as to the vendor's research and development programmes.   • New activities: creation of an e-logistics pack, launch of the Yard Management System product to optimise dock occupation and truck management in the yard, broader functionalities to optimise the TMS transport solution, and improved multi-site warehouse management functionalities.
  • New features for better exchanges: equipped with collaborative portals that can be accessed via the Web, supply chain solutions facilitate exchanges with customers, suppliers or carriers and encourage follow-up of commitments (Collaborative cockpit KPIs)
  • Legal developments: regulations regarding hazardous materials, alcohol, etc. (ADR 2011, Gamma project)

Range of On-Demand application services: Generix Group speeds up

European leader of SaaS ( Software as a Service) applications for the supply chain, Generix Group offers a range of On-Demand services for warehouse management, transport management, pooled procurements, EDI, etc., all managed and controlled via collaborative portals.
