New Ways to Access WMS Online Selection on warehouse-logistics.com

For more than thirteen years, the WMS Database on warehouse-logistics.com has been providing the most comprehensive overview of warehouse management systems (WMS) in the world.

Now it is even easier to access the functional data: Interested parties and those looking for a suitable system for their own warehouse logistics have access to two versions of WMS Online Selection. Finding and comparing numerous software solutions is easier and faster than ever.

WMS Online Selection makes a neutral comparison of more than 100 warehouse management systems possible. WMS Online Selection searches the functional data stored in the WMS Database to find the systems that meet the individual requirements of the user most closely. Users can choose between two different versions of WMS Online Selection, which differ in functionality and level of detail of the results.

The free express version provides users with a quick overview of a suitable WMS vendor for a specific project and the methodology used by WMS Online Selection. Access to the express version is valid for twelve months and it also includes the use of K.O. criteria and the ability to assign rough weightings to make the search for a suitable WMS more precise. The user also receives a free evaluation and the ability to contact the selected WMS vendors directly.

The new premium version is available for 999 euros and allows the user to perform a comprehensive search for a suitable WMS including detailed weighting in all categories down to the lowest possible level. Twenty evaluations are also included in the price as well as the ability to create, copy, or modify the evaluations and download all results in graphic form as a PDF. Premium users also get to view the answers that the WMS vendors provided to the questionnaire.

"We decided to introduce these new versions to make it easier for our customers and replace the old three-step system,” explains Tim Geißen, responsible for the technical development of the portal. The new express version now offers more functionality and the new premium version is now more affordable. There is also a version of WMS Online Selection that is free for universities and colleges to aid them with lectures and courses.
