The building materials and building components industry plays by its own rules: Heterogeneous goods - from adhesives to stones, from clamps to tubes –, seasonal variations, the need to take special product properties such as best before dates into account, short-term requirements and just-in-time orders, pinpoint deliveries and highest delivery quality.
The intralogistics system and the WMS must reflect all of these accordingly. More than that: The right intralogistics determines the success of a company, for whoever can deliver will cut the deal.
