Online food retailer Frisco.pl opts for automated intralogistics

In recent months, TGW has built a distribution center for the Polish e-commerce specialist Frisco.pl, some 13 kilometers northwest of Warsaw. The highly automated system operates in four different temperature zones – from normal to fresh and chilled food to frozen products. The logistics center was successfully commissioned in summer 2019 – only 21 months after the contract was awarded.

PSI grows by 13 percent in the First Six Months

PSI Group increased new orders by 5 % to the new record value of 142 million euros in the first six months of 2019 (30 June 2018: 135 million euros). The order book volume on 30 June 2019 was, at 171 million euros, 4 % above the figure for the previous year (30 June 2018: 165 million euros).

In the state of Kansas, USA, TGW recently completed an automated distribution center for spare parts specialist, TVH Parts Co. This included a five-aisle shuttle system with 51,000 storage locations, combined with highly efficient goods-to-person picking workstations ensures maximum flexibility. Thanks to the new TGW automation, it was possible to increase throughput, while reducing manual workflow. TVH customer`s now benefit from better service, as well as extended order placement deadlines.
