In the same spirit, CIM has presented its new voice-directed pick-by-vision solution for more efficient and precise warehouse picking processes at the fair. By combining voice and vision, CIM has made it possible for users to exploit the advantages of both systems. Visitors had the opportunity to see this for themselves during live tests performed at CIM’s stand.

TGW and Coop Sign Multi-Year Service Contract

The Coop logistics center in Schafisheim, Switzerland, is relying on TGW’s competence for ongoing operations as part of a comprehensive Lifetime Services package. The contract, which was recently signed, features three years of full maintenance with an extension option for an additional two years. TGW will also be handling spare parts for Coop’s complex intralogistics system.

Vanderlande has signed a strategic partnership with Fizyr to develop artificial intelligence (AI) technology for its automated order picking, storage, unloading and palletising robotic solutions. The results will be integrated into Vanderlande’s existing product portfolio, such as Smart Item Robotics (SIR), which has been designed to handle the large variety of items common to the warehouse, parcel and airports markets.
