Our programme design for the 22nd participant meeting on 28.09.2023 in Dortmund.

06.09.2023

This year we are discussing the future of logistics under the motto »What does logistics IT look like in 2035?« Therefore, we have put together a suitable programme for you.

After the reception, our institute director Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. ten Hompel will give the key note. Our participants' meeting will be accompanied by our moderator and team leader of the »warehouse logistics« team, Mauro Napierala.

This year we are offering three interactive formats in our programme. Firstly, the World Café with the following topics: Intralogistics in 2035, Future Work with AI and Logistics IT, Gamification, Simplifying Logistics IT, New Work in Logistics IT. As the future of logistics is in the foreground, the topic of gamification, for example, offers a possibility of how logistics could reshape work at the picking station in the future. On the other hand, we are offering an innovation exchange this year. The focus of our presentations will be on future-oriented topics, such as the research project Datenfabrik.NRW. This has set itself the goal of supporting companies in their digital transformation and developing them into data-driven factories of the future. This further development should help to increase efficiency and flexibility in production and enhance the competitiveness of companies.

Finally, our House of Commons debate will take place, which will focus on the topic of Logistics IT 2035.

Registration for the Participants' Meeting 2023 is available to you as a participant after logging in to our "warehouse logistics" platform.
