EXE Technologies Successfully Extends ISO 9001:2000 Certification
16.12.2002
EXE's Product Development and Professional Services are now globally certified

DALLAS, Texas – December 11, 2002 – EXE Technologies®, Inc. (NASDAQ: EXEE), a leading global supply chain execution (SCE) solutions provider, has been granted an extension of its longstanding ISO certification for Professional Services. Additionally, EXE's certification now includes EXE's core products under the EXceedTMFulfill, EXceedTM, AIM and EXceedTM Collaborate product suites.
EXE Technologies has been ISO certified in Professional Services through its European offices since 1998 and upgraded its certification to the ISO 9001:2000 level in early 2001. The recent extension includes the design, development, distribution and maintenance of supply chain management software as assessed in accordance with ISO 9000-3 1997 guidelines. Additionally, EXE is certified for the installation and deployment of supply chain solutions.
EXE's corporate headquarters in Dallas, Texas, completed its audit preparation and formal certification extension in only eight weeks -- an extremely short period -- which is a reflection of the high quality standards already practiced in EXE's corporate organization. The certification covers all EXE operations including Sales and Marketing, Professional Services (comprised of invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable), Human Resources, Purchasing, Customer Support Operations, EXE University Training, Management Information Systems and Information Technology, the Quality Management System and Consultancy Services.
The recent extension of the ISO 9001:2000 certification underscores EXE's commitment to continued support of our customers, whether they operate in retail, government, military and defense, manufacturing, distribution, consumer packaged goods, healthcare, third-party logistics, or other industries," said Joe Cowan, president and CEO. "It demonstrates that we are fully focused on our objective to continually improve our quality systems, allowing us to provide our customers unparalleled products and support."
ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies from some 130 countries. Its mission is to promote the development of standardization and related activities in the world with a view to facilitating the international exchange of goods and services, and to developing cooperation in the spheres of intellectual, scientific, technological and economic activity.
