Mönig Logistik: On Schedule with Latest Release Upgrade

30.11.2021

Mönig Logistik has future-proofed its warehouse thanks to a new release upgrade contract with CIM GmbH. PROLAG®World was originally implemented at Monig in 2013 and this latest step will ensure that the WMS remains fully up-to-date. Based in North-Rhine Westphalia, Mönig Logistik GmbH is a Germany-wide provider of tailored logistics solutions – from overseas transport to premium storage.

Reliability and speed are two of the key elements in modern logistics. To be able to meet these demands both now and in future, Mönig Logistik, based in Meschede, has opted for a release upgrade contract with software manufacturer CIM GmbH. CIM’s warehouse management system, PROLAG®World, ensures optimum warehouse performance despite constantly increasing requirements. A major system upgrade in October 2021 was the first in what will be a series of regular release upgrades. Thanks to virtually 100% standardisation and annual release upgrades, PROLAG®World is guaranteed to be up-to-date at all times in terms of security, currentness and efficiency. Major system upheavals are a thing of the past. CIM is constantly expanding its range of WMS functions with additional security features and optimised compatibility with state-of-the-art technologies. And Mönig Logistik is already enjoying the full benefits with the latest release upgrade: PROLAG®Go, the mobile android app for PROLAG®World, was implemented in Meschede in October 2021.

From the perspective of the CIM project team, the release upgrade was a complete success. »Even on the first day after go-live, the system was able to meet its targets and ran almost silently,« reports CIM project manager Vera von Haxthausen proudly. The release upgrade contract between CIM and Mönig is set to pave the way for success collaboration well into the future.
