Rossmann implements PSIwms in the new distribution center in Hungary

Rossmann has been active in Hungary since 1993 and operates over 250 stores there. By using PSIwms, the strong growth and increasing demand can be managed efficiently. Find out here how the logistics processes are optimally supported by the new solution.

We were commissioned by Dirk Rossmann GmbH to implement our warehouse management system PSIwms in the new distribution center in Hungary. The warehouse covers an area of 27,300 square meters and has capacities for more than 20,000 article types, 23,000 pallet spaces and 63,000 shelf spaces.

The advanced distribution center is designed to handle the daily shipment of around 1 million items, increasing efficiency through the use of modern technologies, including artificial intelligence.

Csaba Szuchy, Director Logistics at Rossmann Magyarország Kft, explains the decision for PSI: »We chose the PSI solution because it offers functionalities that meet our requirements for the management of omnichannel processes. And also because it is characterized by its innovative functions, including the use of artificial intelligence for the picking processes.«

The implementation of PSIwms is part of a larger automation project that is being carried out in collaboration with SSI Schaefer, a leading global solution provider for intralogistics.
