Optimisation of warehouse processes at Pietec with w3/max

Pietec Feinwerktechnik GmbH & Co. KG is an industrial supplier from Bad Wünnenberg in North Rhine-Westphalia.

Founded in 1992, the company offers individual parts, assemblies and complete devices with a focus on sheet metal processing. The medium-sized company also takes on other tasks such as engineering and complete logistics for its customers.

In order to efficiently manage the increasing logistics effort, Pietec has commissioned w3logistics AG to optimise the warehouse processes. This was achieved by implementing the warehouse management softwarew3/maxfrom w3logistics. The software enables the manual warehouses to be integrated into a standardised system. Thanks to the interface to Pietec's ERP system,w3/maxcan control the entire process from goods receipt to goods issue.

The advantages of such software are manifold. It offers real-time monitoring and transparency of all warehouse stocks, which enables more efficient planning and control of the flow of goods. In addition, the automation of processes in incoming goods, order picking and dispatch saves valuable time and resources.
