In order to maintain its position as a major player in the brewing industry, Budweiser Budvar had to redesign its processes. In doing so, the company aimed to improve scalability and efficiency while reaffirming its commitment to quality and authenticity. To achieve this, process models had to be revised, industry-specific best practices introduced and automation and digitalization driven forward with a modern cloud ERP system.
Standardized technology environment in the cloud with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition
With the implementation of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, Budějovický Budvar N.P. (Budweiser Budvar) benefits from impressive system stability and a wide range of functions. The brewery can now manage its 100 trucks for export and its 100 domestic routes more easily.

Budweiser Budvar intends to convert its other locations to a uniform process model in the future and harmonize and optimize its sales and sales planning processes with the help of a common ERP application and shared services. This will enable the company to avoid stock-outs, reduce its inventory levels and improve production and sales planning.
To underpin its commitment to continuous improvement and optimized business processes, the brewery also plans to replace its legacy warehouse management system with the SAP Extended Warehouse Management application. This should reduce support costs and improve warehouse performance. Other important aspects of Budweiser Budvar's strategy include increased sales productivity through segmentation and automation, the reduction of manual processes in procurement and finance through the use of automation use cases, and automated interactions with suppliers
