ALDATA provides G.O.L.D. to Finland's largest discount chain TOKMANNI OY

Aldata Solution is to provide its G.O.L.D. software to Tokmanni Oy. The scope of the solution includes warehouse management, centralised supply chain management and store operations.

"Tokmanni's goal is to centralise and strengthen operational management and control. Tokmanni will centralise warehouse operations in its main warehouse in the Mäntsälä region of Finland in spring 2008. Purchasing and replenishment management will also be centralised. The Aldata Retail solution has been developed to meet all the specific needs of the retail business sector and with it, we can achieve the most effective level of operations for our Group", declares Tokmanni's Managing Director Kyösti Kakkonen.

The Aldata G.O.L.D. solution will be delivered to Tokmanni in three phases. In the first phase, Aldata will deliver the G.O.L.D. Stock warehouse management system as well as warehouse operation optimisation systems such as G.O.L.D. Vocal for voice-directed operations and G.O.L.D. Radio for handheld operations. During the subsequent phases, Aldata will provide Tokmanni with its store back-office system G.O.L.D. Shop, its replenishment optimisation system G.O.L.D. Topase and its centralized point-of-sale system G.O.L.D. POS. Furthermore, all of Tokmanni's supply chain management related support services will be transferred to Aldata.
