Relef Center in Russia chooses Consafe Logistics WMS

Relef Center, a company who distributes stationery and office equipment to wholesale and retail companies, has decided to implement Consafe Logistics Warehouse Management System in their Distribution Center outside Ryazan.

Relef Center, founded in 1999, has today 16 regional retail stores "Chancellor" and branches in central Russia. Their customers are wholesale and retail companies based across the region - from Belarus to the Far East. The DC outside of Ryazan is 8 500 sq m.

The objective for investing in a WMS, part from cost-optimization, is to handle company growth, optimize resources and to improve customer service. Included in the project is also optimization of company logistics processes, coordinated by Red Tree. Relef Center, had the choice between the "best of breed" westerns system and proprietary Russian systems, including a strong demand for an experienced and skilled implementation team.

According to Relef company management: "A successful project implementation should allow the company to create a more flexible goods flow. Together with quality improvements, this will seriously upgrade the level of customer service. Implementation of new processes will release significant financial and human resources, which will be reinvested into the new technologies".

Consafe Logistics WMS is considered to be the optimal solution for medium and large-scale logistics warehouse with increased complexity and intensity of operations. The key advantages are functionality, performance, scalability and ease of updating.
