KNAPP’s new partner in Bulgaria

Logistic Systems Ltd., the warehouse logistics specialist founded in 2003 and headquartered in Sofia, counts among its customers such well-known companies as TNT and Johnson + Johnson.

This partnership further reinforces KNAPP’s market position in Bulgaria. Direct access to local customers in Bulgaria makes it possible to build up and strengthen existing business relations.

KNAPP already successful in Bulgaria

Sopharma, a leading wholesaler of pharmaceutical products, opened a new distribution centre in Sofia at the beginning of 2009, with over 10,000 m² of storage area and 2,400 pallet locations. In 2010 KNAPP acquired an expansion order for another WMS module. The heart of the system is an automated high bay warehouse system (AS/RS) with over 30,000 storage locations and the proven KNAPP central belt technology for fully automatic single item picking. The system offers the possibility of completing 30,000 order lines per day, more than 85% with fully-automatic processing. With more than 730 employees and about 3000 customers, Sopharma is one of the most successful and fast-growing companies in Bulgaria.

Combined presence at Transport & Logistics fair

From May 26-29, 2010, the KNAPP Group will appear for the first time with its new partner at the Transport & Logistics trade fair in Sofia. Both companies will showcase best practice solutions for intralogistics systems at their joint exhibition stand in hall 4.
