Over 3,000 visitors attending the 2016 German Intralogistics Congress from October 19th to 21st can get a better idea of Jungheinrich as a leading intralogistics solutions provider at the company's interactive information booth. Its multi-touch presentation table features numerous solutions, products and best-practice projects from Jungheinrich, including the IFOY award-winning EKX 514-516 narrow-aisle stacker as well as a Jungheinrich-designed spare parts center, live in operation. In keeping with the Congress theme of »Shaping Transformation«, Jungheinrich already provides its customers with a comprehensive, perfectly coordinated range of offerings consisting of flexible, tailored solutions from a single source.

»The digitalization and automation of entire supply chains as well as the intelligent connection of people and machines plays an increasingly decisive role. To be in a position to process numerous small orders quickly, flexibly and cheaply, companies need intralogistics systems with tailored degrees of automation along with intelligent IT systems. This is a driver of corporate profitability and success,« explains Dr. Lars Brzoska, Jungheinrich Board of Management member in charge of Sales.

This year Jungheinrich already presented an entire series of new technologies and assistance systems - from easyPILOT, a remote system that supports order picking using the award-winning ECE 220/225, including in conjunction with data glasses, to the Auto Pallet Mover (APM) as well as camera and location systems all the way to Cloud applications. Jungheinrich is also engaged in equipping state-of-the-art industrial trucks with an ever-growing fount of intelligence - including the new EKX 514-516 narrow-aisle stacker. One example consists of sensors which collect a wide range of data from their environment to perform activities like driving to the next storage location automatically or semi-automatically.

Full system integration is key to having efficient processes. Jungheinrich accomplishes this by applying its multiple award-winning Logistic Interface software as well as mobile apps and Web applications which allow the user to access his data anytime, anywhere as well as manage his logistics, including his stacker fleet at all company locations, internationally and manufacturer-independent. Apart from its proprietary Warehouse Management System, Jungheinrich has also recently introduced SAP EWM into its logistics systems portfolio and now offers end-to-end support in implementing SAP EWM - from the initial planning stages to after-sales service from Jungheinrich.
