68% of Gartner Supply Chain Top 25 Powered by Kewill for Supply Chain Execution

Kewill, the global leader in multimodal transportation management software, has identified that 68% of the recently announced Gartner Supply Chain Top 25 companies for 2014 are customers currently using its supply chain execution software to manage some or all of their operations.

Its Kewill MOVE® software provides organizations with a comprehensive end-to-end platform for managing the complexities of transportation, logistics and trade compliance. Companies using the software include not just some of the internationally recognized brands that are included in the Gartner research, but also the logistics service providers and freight forwarders that support their supply chain operations, as well as the regional suppliers and transportation partners that play a critical role pre and post production.

With over 7,500 customer companies in more than 100 countries, Kewill estimates that the supply chains of the entire Gartner Supply Chain Top 25 for 2014 have been managed to some degree by its software, as goods pass through the order and shipment cycles.

Evan Puzey, chief marketing officer at Kewill commented, »While the Gartner Supply Chain Top 25 provides recognition for some of the world’s best-known companies, it is also important to recognize the achievements of all the third party organizations that do their part to make these supply chains award winning. Supply chain success is underpinned by collaboration and co-operation across all trading partners in a truly demand driven supply network.  Supply chain execution should no longer be seen as a cost center, but an opportunity to create strategic advantage. Kewill has clearly seen how shippers and LSPs who, by working together and striving for excellence through ongoing investments in technology and collaboration, reap the rewards through better agility, visibility and customer service and ultimately in improved margins.«
