Protina Pharmazeutische GmbH in Munich will in future implement its business processes end-to-end and fully integrated with the GUS-OS Suite. The GUS Group software convinced the customer with the completeness of the solution offering and the associated end-to-end process view.

Protina has opted for an integrated, single-source ERP solution in the shape of the GUS-OS Suite, an application architecture consisting of special solutions. The scales were tipped in the GUS Group’s favor by the numerous GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) references and the software’s intuitive user interface.
Protina is specialized in the development, approval, production and marketing of innovative healthcare products in the OTC medications sector and in food supplements for domestic and international use. Over a century of experience with minerals, trace elements and vitamins has led to a wide range of active substances in different dosage forms to improve health and fitness. So Protina is active in a market that requires dynamic adjustment of offers and business processes.
This is the area in which the GUS-OS Suite is intended to provide active support. One of the strong points of the company, the short reporting routes and flat hierarchy, is to be mapped and further optimized in the new enterprise solution. The previous software, last validated more than ten years ago, was no longer up to the job. An interesting aspect of the launch that is now under way is that Protina has dispensed with a dedicated IT department and left the implementation of the new software to key users from its specialized departments in collaboration with the GUS Group’s process experts.
