Use of RPS in SMEs

Together with the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Ruhr-OWL, the »warehouse logistics team« focused on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) regarding the software-supported planning of personnel resources and compiled the results in a study. Rapid adaptability, high flexibility, customized lot sizes, and fluctuating personnel requirements: logistics companies must meet numerous requirements to remain competitive. Through the use of technology and software, the aim is to increase productivity and enhance planning accuracy. The selection of a resource planning system (RPS) plays a decisive role in this. Under the title »Human Integration – Digital Planning of Personnel Resources in the Mittelstand«, the study explores the questions critical to selecting an RPS and examines functionality, added value, and hurdles during implementation.
