Hoisting of 39-metre-high cranes at Crop’s

Today Egemin Automation hoists one of the five automated stacker cranes in the new deepfreeze warehouse of frozen foods producer Crop’s in Ooigem, West Flanders. The new high-bay warehouse is being built next to the existing freezer warehouse and production plant. The investment in the expansion of the site must support Crop’s growth plans in the coming years. Crop's new warehouse will become operational early 2016.

44-metre-high deep-freeze warehouse for Agristo

Egemin Automation will build a new automated deep-freeze warehouse for Belgian producer of frozen French fries Agristo on its production site in Nazareth in East Flanders. The investment needs to support Agristo’s projected growth. The new high-bay warehouse will be 44 metres high and eight AS/RS stacker cranes will be deployed to store frozen French fries.

Turnkey warehouse system for Kim's Chocolates

Egemin Automation has installed a fully automated warehouse system at Kim's Chocolates for the internal transport, automated storage, and order picking of chocolate products. Egemin's system includes three automated warehouses for the storage of semi-finished products, packaging materials and finished products. Three automated guided vehicles transport goods between warehouses and production.

Egemin delivers 17 AGVS in Mexico City

Egemin Automation Inc. will automate the existing facility of a major snack foods specialist in Mexico City, Mexico, in an effort to consolidate several warehouse and distribution facilities into one centralized location. This move will prepare the company for growth in the coming years.

KXTX orders E'tow system for distribution hub

Egemin Automation will automate the logistics process of Chinese firm KXTX in Wuhan with an E'tow installation. This leading Chinese logistics player will become the first Chinese company in the industry with an automated in-floor chain conveyor system. Egemin Automation is responsible at KXTX for both the pre-engineering and the installation and final commissioning on site. The project will be completed in the spring of next year.

Turnkey storage & distribution system for Synutra France

Egemin Automation has received a new major warehouse automation order from Synutra France. The order comprises the design and installation of a turnkey intralogistics system for Synutra’s new milk powder processing plant in Carhaix, Brittany. The system is to provide automated management of all flows of raw materials, finished products and consumables. It will be operational by the end of 2015.

Egemin Automation is going to build and automate a brand-new deepfreeze warehouse for frozen foods specialist Crop's in Belgium, on the production site of Ooigem. The investment in the expansion of the site must support Crop’s growth plans in the next coming years. The new high-bay warehouse will be built next to the existing freezer warehouse and production plant.

Egemin signs AutoStore distributor agreement

Last week Egemin Automation signed a distributor agreement with Norwegian’s Hatteland for the sales and installation of AutoStore storage systems. This makes Egemin an official AutoStore system integrator allowed to sell and install AutoStore systems in the Benelux countries.

Successful hoisting of stacker cranes at Zijderlaan

ast week Egemin Automation successfully completed the hoisting works of three automated pallet stacker cranes at Zijderlaan. To ensure that the hoisting of the 20-metre-high pallet cranes went according to plan the roof of the warehouse on the Suiker Unie Puttershoek site was temporarily opened. The new automated warehouse has to be operational by July 2014. Egemin will establish the connection of the warehouse with Suiker Unie’s factory later this summer.

Integrated warehouse & distribution system for IVC

Egemin Automation and IVC have signed a contract for a complete warehouse and distribution system for IVC’s production site in Avelgem. The system will ensure the fully automated transport and storage of finished Moduleo® vinyl flooring (Luxury Vinyl Tiles) between production, warehouse and dispatch.

Zijderlaan opts for automated warehouse by Egemin

Egemin Automation, specialist in automation projects, will build an automated storage sugar warehouse for Zijderlaan at the site of Suiker Unie Puttershoek, in the Netherlands. A conveyor installation will connect the warehouse with Suiker Unie’s plant. Third-party logistics service provider Zijderlaan worked out the details of the project together with Egemin Automation. Egemin is responsible for the design of the installation, Zijderlaan for its management.

Egemin delivers integrated warehouse system for Vandeputte

Egemin has automated Vandeputte’s brand new distribution centre. For this, it developed and integrated a semi-automated warehouse concept. Through automating its intralogistics Vandeputte is able to process up to 2,000 orders daily, instead of 1,500, with the same number of employees.

Ferrero chooses Egemin to modernise its warehouse

Ferrero Ardennes SA, based in Arlon, has tasked Egemin Automation with modernising its fully automated warehouse and transport system. Egemin supplied the original system to Ferrero in 1999. Ferrero wants to guarantee the continuity of its distribution activities with the warehouse retrofit. The renewal project will be executed in phases.
