Kardex Mlog: Sven Pitz to head Refurbishment business sector

Sven Pitz is the new Manager Sales New Business Refurbishment at Kardex Mlog and thus assumes leadership of the Refurbishment business sector.

The state-certified electrical engineer and business management professional (IHK) has more than 22 years of experience in intralogistics, with a consistent focus on optimizing existing plants. More recently, the refurbishment expert was employed at Körber Supply Chain Automation. The 48-year-old, originally from Heilbronn, succeeds Harald Bauer, who has retired.

Kardex Mlog is a recognized specialist in the refurbishment of complex automated warehouses during ongoing operations, regardless of whether Kardex Mlog or another provider constructed the original plants. »As a pioneer in this field, Kardex Mlog has established an excellent reputation. I want to continue building on the work done so far, and I hope to demonstrate our quality and reliability to many more companies,« says Pitz.

As Manager Sales New Business Refurbishment, Sven Pitz wants to further strengthen customer confidence in the services provided by Kardex Mlog and aims to design and implement solutions tailored to meet specific requirements. »We want to ensure that our customers’ plants can continue to work productively with minimum disruptions during the entire refurbishment and conversion phase,« says the new manager, who, in his spare time, is a mountaineering enthusiast and a keen mountain biker.
