Next Step for Consafe Logistics

During the years when I have worked within supply chain I have been taught that process development is better taken step by step. There any many things that needs to be taken care of why jumping from square 3 to 7 is maybe not always the best. Not only your processes have to be adjusted to new rules or requirements but also your system and last but not least the people that work in the processes.
These necessary ‘steps taking’ is also why we believe that Consafe Logistics can be an important player for our customers in their journey to develop their supply chain to best in class and world class.
Captura is complementing Consafe Logistics and making us even stronger in the customer segments Manufacturing and warehousing, Transport and distribution, Retail and Field automation. Captura is also working with logistics solutions more "down stream” the supply chain after the warehousing. Together our two companies will be stronger in Scandinavia on mobile equipments and it will also support us of adding mobile equipment to our customers in the Netherlands and in UK.
Consafe Logistics has also a minority stake in Sonat AB since beginning of the year. Sonat has a deep expertise in logistics. When Consafe Logistics implement systems to improve the logistic efficiency, Sonat concentrate to develop and operate the logistic efficiency through people and processes. The combination of our two companies will add a new dimension to our customer offerings. So all the steps we are taking now are to be able to support our customers in their development in supply chain and also to become the long term logistics partner that we would like to be.
