Effect Warehouse from Consafe Logistics increases logistics processes at ES-System

ES-System, leading producer and distributor of lighting systems in Poland, chooses Effect Warehouse from Consafe Logistics for its five warehouses.
Effect Warehouse is a cost-effective WMS designed for small and medium sized warehouses. It offers standard technology and a robust platform that helps companies achieve better productivity, almost 100% balance accuracy and better quality in picking processes.
Since ES-System has recently experienced dynamic grow they needed to improve their warehouse operations, especially to reduce manual faults and improve picking routines.
"The implementation of Effect Warehouse in ES-System is very complex which means that one server WMS will be responsible for managing all logistics processes connected with production and distribution in five separated localizations. This solution gives ES-System new possibilities of standardizing their processes for all ES-System subsidiaries", says Jaroslaw Bukowski, Software Sales Team Manager at Consafe Logistics.
The project has been divided into three steps and covers complex IT and logistics infrastructure. The first step is to be completed in July 2008 and will include three warehouses. Two more localizations are going to go live till the end of 2008. Consafe Logistics also supplied hand-held terminals from Motorola and mobile printers from Zebra Technologies communicating directly with Effect Warehouse.
Using Motorola hand-held terminals, Consafe Logistics’ system contributes to increased efficiency in the warehouse (goods reception, stock taking, picking and repicking). It helps improving reporting, reduce manual faults and automatically generate all goods information.
