Letter from CEO of Consafe Logistics Group
11.02.2009
In the beginning of a new year it is time to summarize last year and to look forward on the year to come.

It is easy to conclude that 2008 in general has been a year of dramatic changes and big fluctuations in market conditions. Many markets have challenging times and numerous companies have suffered. Though the general news flow is very pessimistic, the situation we meet on our markets is not at all that negative. There has absolutely been a change of focus, from growth to efficiency and cost control, but that is both natural and necessary from time to time. New focus areas drives change and change always creates possibilities.
As Consafe Logistics we meet customers and partners in various markets, since our products and solutions are built to meet different needs and demands in logistics and supply chain. We are of course not immune to external conditions, but when summarizing 2008, my conclusion is that we today are stronger and better positioned than one year ago. This conclusion is based on progress and success in many areas, where the most important ones are:
- Focus and concentration of our business into two main business areas, Warehousing & Distribution and Mobile Solutions.
- Strong order intake, we have a better order situation today in most of our focus areas than ever before.
- We have improved and harmonized our main processes, to the benefit of us, our customers and partners.
All in all this gives us confidence in our strategy to further improve and grow our business. We will continue to act with a long term focus and for 2009 this will include further investments in product and process development. Our ambition is to deliver top class products and services to both international and local customers.
I wish you and your businesses all the best for 2009 and hopefully we will meet to discuss new business possibilities in the near future.
With best regards
Robert Jansson
