PSI welcomes Dr. Karl-Josef Neukirchen as a new Investor

27.04.2009

In the recent years PSI AG has been of interest by various investors to acquire a substantial share or to take over PSI. The key market positions, increasing results and low valuation of PSI’s stock were of key interest.

PSI management welcomes the news from April 24th that Dr Karl-Josef Neukirchen will be engaged as a new investor and will work jointly with him on advancing the position of the company.

Given the current business environment and unique business opportunities the PSI management team will continue to follow its successful strategy. In 2008, an equity return of 12 percent was achieved from an equity ratio of 33 percent. An equity return of at least 14 percent has been announced for 2009.

In advance of the planned conversion to personal shares more well-known groups of investors with long-term investment horizon were indicated. The PSI management and staff are still represented with more than 20 percent (thereof 15 percent by the employee shareholder consortium) and committed as a traditional anchor investor in PSI.

PSI AG develops and integrates complete solutions, on the basis of its own software products, for the management of energy networks (electricity, gas, oil, heat, water), cross-company production management (metals, automotive, mechanical engineering, logistics) and infrastructure management for telecommunications, transport and safety. PSI was founded in 1969 and employs more than 1,100 persons in the group.
