Leading automotive retailer to enhance productivity with enterprise roll-out

RedPrairie Corporation, a productivity solutions provider, announced today its Workforce Management solution has gone live at eight Advance Auto Parts distribution centers. A leading automotive retailer in the United States, Advance Auto is also in the process of implementing RedPrairie’s Transportation Management and Collaboration Portal solutions.

“Our company wanted a solution that could incorporate integrated time and incentive programs in a rapid and direct fashion,” says Chas Scheiderer, Advance Auto’s Senior Vice President of Supply Chain. “RedPrairie’s Workforce Management has capabilities for both, and what we consider a simple and straightforward installation procedure. As a whole, we think it was the right choice for our business.”

Advance Auto is using Workforce Management to help provide real-time visibility into labor metrics enterprise-wide. Through a process of strategic project management, technological integration, and managed change, the company hopes to have the ability to deploy the right number of workers, with the right skills, at the right time to meet business objectives and customer demand.

“Companies like Advance Auto define progress in supply chain management,” says RedPrairie CEO Mike Mayoras, “We congratulate the company on a successful go-live.”

Advance Auto Parts representative Frederick Neubert will speak at RedPrairie’s 13th annual user conference, RedShift:2010, on May 11, 2010 at the JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes hotel in Orlando, Fl. More information is available online at http://redshift.redprairie.com.
