With the updated questionnaire version 2022, the new validation round starts

The annual validation of the »Logistics IT systems« listed on warehouse-logistics.com ensures the high quality of the information stored in the »Logistics IT Database«. This enables the »Team warehouse logistics« of the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics (IML) to provide logistics IT customers with a precise system selection according to individual criteria and detailed system comparisons based on continuously validated manufacturer specifications.
In the course of the expansion of the »warehouse logistics« platform to include the system groups TMS, FGS, RPS and BI, the validation questionnaire 2022 was comprehensively revised. This keeps the »logistics IT Database« up to date in its function as a logistics platform for logistics IT providers and logistics IT customers. The new version of the validation questionnaire was restructured in terms of content and is now divided into a company questionnaire, a system group questionnaire and a system questionnaire. In the case of multiple system listings, the modularization of the validation questionnaires offers logistics IT providers the advantage that the company- and system group-related questions only have to be answered once.
Besides updating the validation questionnaire, the validation process was also digitalized and simplified. The validation 2022 is carried out directly on the web interface, which eliminates the import of Excel files. In addition, it is now possible for several users to work on the validation questionnaire at the same time.
Furthermore, extensive innovations were also made in the CMS with the integration of an independent user and rights structure. The previous user account for »warehouse logistics« was transferred and is now authorised to create up to 5 additional users as a provider master account. Furthermore, logistics IT providers can now define in the CMS itself which users are to be contacted as contact persons and main contact persons for the validation of questionnaires.
