On the shores of Lake Lucerne, TGW is building a highly automated shuttle warehouse for coffee machine specialist Thermoplan, which will go into operation as early as February 2020. Recently, the completion of the building's envelope was celebrated at the topping-out ceremony in the Swiss town of Weggis, while assembly of the shuttle system has already started.

Online food retailer opts for automated intralogistics


In recent months, TGW has built a distribution center for the Polish e-commerce specialist, some 13 kilometers northwest of Warsaw. The highly automated system operates in four different temperature zones – from normal to fresh and chilled food to frozen products. The logistics center was successfully commissioned in summer 2019 – only 21 months after the contract was awarded.
