LogiMAT 2023: SWAN Shows User-Centric SAP Solutions For Digital Intralogistics

07.03.2023

Innovative, automated and user-centric: This is how SWAN GmbH presents itself and its intralogistics solutions based on the SAP modules SAP EWM and SAP TM at this year’s LogiMAT.

The project house for SAP logistics focuses on the topic of “usability”; with the innovative core products such as the SWAN 3D Logistics Cockpit, this is clearly in focus. In addition, SWAN provides insights into the future corporate strategy and shows successfully implemented projects at international companies in the automotive, pharmaceutical, fashion and food industries, including Brose, BASF, Triumph and apetito. You will find SWAN in hall 8 at booth D47.

With this year’s trade fair appearance, SWAN underpins its comprehensive expertise in the field of manual and automated logistics solutions. In addition to strongly usability and performance-oriented solutions based on SAPUI5 (SAP User Interface 5) such as the
3D Logistics Cockpit, SWAN offers further automation solutions for intralogistics. These include innovative add-ons in the areas of material flow, direct coupling and IoT connectivity, as well as Real Time Location Systems (RTLS). SWAN’s range of services also includes the control of automated systems, the development of technical interfaces for connecting SAP and non-SAP systems, and ongoing consulting and services along the entire solution life cycle.

SWAN has already demonstrated its in-depth technological and industry-specific know-how in the implementation of customized, efficient and modular SAP logistics solutions for numerous major international customers. Den Erfolg der SWAN-Projektmethodik veranschaulicht das Unternehmen anhand von mannigfachen Projektbeispielen.

Optimized Usability: SWAN 3D Logistics Cockpit and SAPUI5

SWAN will present innovative core products from its portfolio at LogiMAT 2023, including the SWAN 3D Logistics Cockpit. This scores points for its high user-friendliness. The solution uses existing data from SAP EWM to create an interactive 3D virtual warehouse map. This “digital twin” provides real-time information on inventories, warehouse structures and stock movements – visually appealing and clearly presented. Control takes place in the reality-like 3D interface based on SAPUI5 and can be operated intuitively. As a Fiori application, it can be integrated into any SAP system; retrofitting is also easily possible in existing installations. In addition, it can also be used on mobile devices.

High-performance transport processing with SAP TM

In addition, SWAN is pushing ahead with the consistent expansion of the SAP Transportation Management (TM) business area. In view of supply bottlenecks and increased transparency requirements, data-driven TM is becoming increasingly important. SWAN offers companies bundled solutions for high-performance transport processing with SAP TM in combination with SAP EWM. The direct integration of transport management into the SAP landscape makes it possible to plan and execute goods flows and transport types directly in the system. The result of the increasing channelization of all SAP processes: greater efficiency, transparency and thus a noticeable reduction in costs along the entire supply chain.

Visitors to the stand at LogiMAT will be able to find out more about SWAN’s future strategic direction. Managing Director Alexander Bernhard: »For 2023, we are aiming to further sharpen the product portfolio. This will meet the changing needs and requirements of future digitization projects in logistics even better.«
