G.O.L.D. software will support Mercator's logistic, retail and wholesale operations in Slovenia and abroad
Mercator business system, a leading Slovenian retailer with strong presence in several markets of Southeastern Europe, has signed an agreement with the Slovenian subsidiary of Aldata to implement G.O.L.D. software in order to establish efficient support to its supply chain. By choosing G.O.L.D., the leading Slovenian retailer is switching to a modular and globally recognized application environment that will enable the company to realize its business goals. By using G.O.L.D. software, Mercator will improve its business processes in retail, ordering and procurement as well as its logistics management and sales forecasting. The G.O.L.D. implementation will introduce optimal integration of data and give access to new features and the standardization of business processes.
Mercator based its choice of Aldata’s solution on detailed analyses, the expertise of Aldata and the experience of other large retail chains with G.O.L.D. implementations. The solution will help Mercator to manage its supply chains more efficiently. The company chose to implement a new application environment, which includes retail and wholesale operations as well as logistics and supporting functions in Slovenia and several countries of Southeastern Europe. The agreement includes the entire process of managing Mercator’s supply chain in all regions where the company is currently present.
