PSI Obtains Logistics Service Provider as New Strategic Customer

Warehouse management system PSIwms for HUETTEMANN

PSI Logistics GmbH, a subsidiary of PSI AG, has been awarded by the logistics service provider HUETTEMANN Logistik from Duisburg with the implementation of the warehouse management system PSIwms. The PSI system will first be implemented at the Hamburg site.

Following a short implementation phase in Hamburg, HUETTEMANN is planning to start operations with PSIwms in August for a popular web-shop. With this project, a long-term and strategic cooperation between PSI Logistics and HUETTEMANN will be established to optimize additional warehouse locations with various clients by means of PSIwms.

The HUETTEMANN Group is a medium-sized international logistics services provider headquartered in Duisburg. The company employs more than 500 persons at 20 sites in Europe. The company provides services ranging from warehousing and contract logistics to consulting, industry-specific solutions and financial services to transportation and IT management. HUETTEMANN services renowned customers such as Pelikan, the manufacturer of writing implements.

PSI AG develops and integrates individual solutions, on the basis of its own software, for the management of energy networks (electricity, gas, oil, water, heat), cross-company production management (metals, mechanical engineering, automotive, logistics) and infrastructure management for telecommunications, transport and safety. PSI was founded in 1969 and currently employs 1,250 persons in the group.
