Warehouse optimisation with the new Warehouse Management Software DC Director by Dematic - Release of Version 3.0

Dematic introduces the new Version 3.0 of the in-house Warehouse Management Software DC Director.
Beside the known features and the wide range of solutions for Split-Case, Full-Case-, Mix-Case picking and high bay rack implementations, the new Version 3.0 provides the application for using mobile devices, like Smartphone’s and Tablet PC’s as well as a two dimensional visualization of the warehouse processes.
New features are:
- 100% web-enabled platform
- Integrated simulation-based Multishuttle sensitivity analysis
- Visualization of the operation level
- Displayable and controllable on mobile devices
For the first time the new DC Director Version 3.0 makes it possible to view warehousing operations in a two-dimensional visualization. The visual modelling occurs with its own Saphe Library and is based on MFC data. The action menu is directly linked to the objects, which allows an immediate activation/deactivation of the workstation.
App based on framework, independent of operating system
To be away and still keep an eye on the warehouse? It was unachievable some time ago, but the new DC Director Version makes it possible. A web based app enables the manager or supervisor to control the warehouse processes. To gain a good view about all processes, the app is separated to the following groups: logistics cockpit, management areas, warehousing, goods receipt, fulfillment of the order and monitoring. The app is tailored to all end devices, such as Smartphone’s or tables PCs.
