inconso manages international SAP LES rollout at Baerlocher in the USA

The warehouse management system SAP LES ensures uniform logistics IT in Cincinnati, Ohio, and supports one of the world’s leading suppliers of additives in establishing comprehensive planning and control processes.

Baerlocher GmbH is one of the world’s leading suppliers of additives for the plastics industry. Already in 2012, a central SAP LES system was implemented at the Lower Saxony production site in Lingen/Ems, Germany. The software company inconso, which managed the implementation of the warehouse management system SAP LES in Lingen, now also implemented the modified solution at the American site in Cincinnati, OH.

The warehouse management system at the site in Cincinnati was not integrated into the global Baerlocher SAP ERP system. With SAP LES, Baerlocher now owns a fully integrated, reliable software solution that supports the internal production supply, external goods receiving and shipping processes to the customer.

The warehouse management system SAP LES enables an overview of all integrated plant inventories while simultaneously supporting the optimization of comprehensive planning and control processes. The integration of SAP LES thus ensures high inventory transparency and enables further optimizations in inventory management, e.g. permanent inventory.
