Vanderlande to exhibit at Post-Expo 2017

18.09.2017

Veghel, 18 September 2017 – Vanderlande will present its innovative sorting systems, including loop sorters and line sorters at this year’s Post-Expo on 26-28 September at the Palexpo convention centre in Geneva, Switzerland. The event is renowned as the world’s leading showcase for the postal, parcel and express business.

Over 3,500 people are expected to attend this year’s event, in which postal operators, courier and express companies, and fulfilment and logistics companies meet to discuss the challenges of today’s parcel industry.

In line with this, Vanderlande will present the advantages of its integrated solutions – innovative systems, intelligent software and life-cycle services – to representatives from over 90 countries. These are set to help parcel operators overcome increasingly tough service level demands, as well as shorter order lead times, later cut-off times, smaller orders and greater product diversity.

Alongside the company’s sorting systems, Vanderlande will be highlighting the benefits of its latest technology, such as its concepts for (major) hubs and e-fulfilment (ADAPTO), as well as its telescopic conveyors.

In addition, Vanderlande will outline its focus on ‘smalls’ sortation and introduce its new product – SERVICECART@EASE. This enables human access to cross-belt sorters, which is helpful when performing operational and maintenance activities.

Vanderlande will also introduce its Operations Control Centre (OCC) concept, the next step for customers who need 24/7 OEM support. OCC facilitates live, transparent performance monitoring for engineers and operators at customer sites, as well as Vanderlande’s own OCC engineers.

On day two (27 September), Vanderlande’s Market Director Parcel Rob Qualm will be presenting a white paper as part of the event’s »Automation and the Future of Sorting« theme. The title of the presentation is »Are Robots and AGVs the Game Changer for Loose Loads?«

Vanderlande will be at stand no. 2060 (Hall 4).
