LogiMAT/TradeWorld 2018: New FIS Solutions for Warehouse Management and Interoperable Logistics Processes

20.12.2017

Services and products for SAP warehouse management and collaboration in the logistics sector from the SAP gold partner FIS.

Following the motto »Everything from a single source«, FIS will present an extensive product and service portfolio for SAP EWM, the warehouse management system from SAP, at the LogiMAT/TradeWorld logistics trade show (March 13 to 15, 2018). At stand F63 in hall 6, FIS subsidiary FIS-iLog GmbH will also present its iRetPlat (integrated Returnable System Platform), a cloud platform for the management of returnable transport packagings.

Due to its modular structure, SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) is suitable for complex logistics centers as well as for smaller warehouses since solution components can be used selectively as required. As a holistic (and one of the few) provider of EWM, FIS will demonstrate the complete integration of the warehouse management system into the SAP landscape at the trade show. FIS can ensure seamless integration even if the logistics modules (PP, SD, MM) of the ERP system are adapted and further developed on a massive scale.

At the FIS stand, LogiMAT visitors will find new developments in the field of conveyor systems/storage automation using SAP EWM MFR and will be able to inform themselves about modern radio dialogs based on SAPUI5 technology. Furthermore, new optimizations such as a Fiori app for delivery receipt confirmation, a route monitor and a return cockpit will be shown. In Stuttgart, FIS will also provide information about FIS/ewm+ as a project implementation turbo for the entry into warehouse management with SAP EWM.

In the previous year, FIS-iLog GmbH presented iRetPlat for the first time at LogiMAT and has since then further developed the idea of a Digital Logistics Collaboration. New features in 2018 include the networking of iRetPlat with additional platforms such as Swoplo for the purchase and sale of loading equipment or ERP systems from various pooling service providers. »Thanks to the real-time data exchange, we are gradually improving interoperability and transparency for the users of our platform,« explains Johannes Weigand, managing director of FIS-iLog GmbH.
