Optimal warehouse utilization thanks to KPI-oriented scheduling in WMS

PSIwms Adaptive Order Start enables even utilization of all warehouse areas

As the order situation and complexity of order processing increases, bottlenecks are commonplace at individual stages of order processing. For example, production is running smoothly, but goods are piling up in the warehouse.

In order to prevent such cases, there is the function »Adaptive Order Start«in the warehouse man-agement system PSIwms. This function enables you to schedule orders according to KPIs, considering current capacities.

It is based on an AI technology, to which various parameters can be weighted on a customer-specific basis, such as age, priority or utilization of a warehouse area. This means that PSIwms au-tomatically starts orders or intentionally holds back orders with the aim of achieving an even utiliza-tion of all warehouse areas and possibly of other resources (packing stations, etc.).
