Ralf Kleinpas digitalises with w3logistics

Ralf Kleinpas Transporte GmbH is a modern logistics company based in Ahaus in the western Münsterland region. The experienced specialist in storage and handling offers national and international refrigerated and thermo transports in the food and pharmaceutical sector.

Founded in 1999, the company puts special emphasis on efficient and effective planning in the warehouse. In order to develop further, Kleinpas now trusts in the know-how of w3logistics AG.

Short throughput times in the warehouse are essential for a fast reaction time. Therefore, the integration of the WMS system w3/max by w3logistics into the process workflows was an important step for Kleinpas to operate even more effectively and efficiently. Since the standard version of w3/max for multi-user logistics was already able to cover many of the customer's tasks and wishes, only minor modifications to the software were necessary. This made it possible to implement this project in a very short time.

The adaptations included the integration of a Kleinpas-specific address label and a GS1 barcode handling adapted to the suppliers. In order to guarantee a quick and problem-free commissioning, there was on-site training provided by w3logistics in compliance with the Corona hygiene measures. Training staff »on the job« to offer a smooth transition from implementation to productive operation, while at the same time achieving a close relationship with the customer, has always been particularly important to w3logistics.

Both companies can rely on dependable and highly qualified employees during the implementation of the projects, which have also made this project a real success story. Thanks to Nadine Vestert, who supervised the project on Kleinpas' side, and Guido Müller, the project manager at w3logistcs, the project went smoothly and the combination ensured effective communication between the two companies.
