FIS Extends its Portfolio by Cloud-Based Platform for Process Management

From now on, the SAP Signavio Process Transformation Suite is part of the FIS portfolio. The platform helps companies better understand, transform and control their own business processes. A consistent process organization is built by combining process and experience data, which increases efficiency.

Incomplete processes, data silos and missing tools inhibit the successful transformation of companies. This is where the cloud-based SAP Signavio Platform comes in. The Process Transformation Suite helps modeling, analyzing and simplifying processes in order to build up a competitive and intelligent enterprise. Numerous functions enable a continuous improvement process via monitoring as well as a deeper process analysis.

»In Signavio, process owners can monitor processes in real time and get deep insights. The transparency of the processes enables them to respond quickly, in particular if something is not running optimally. The platform creates real process intelligence,« says Björn Knorn, Head of Solution Architects and Product Management at FIS.

For him, SAP Signavio especially offers benefits to companies wishing to restructure their organization and quickly implement changes, but also to companies wishing to model or better monitor their processes. »Be it for transition customers currently implementing SAP S/4HANA or companies not working with SAP ERP: the platform is suitable for all those that want to monitor process chains and create transparency in a short time,« says Björn Knorn. He also emphasizes the particular benefit for onboarding processes. It is easier for new employees to understand business processes if these are visualized via a graphical user interface instead of being available in a text-based process manual. Moreover, all employees get a better overview of processes due to the gain in transparency and can therefore easily integrate improvements.

According to Björn Knorn, the platform fits perfectly with the existing FIS product portfolio »since process modeling has long been a focus for us, even though it was executed manually so far. Now, we are able to model the processes directly via Signavio and make them easy to understand for all project participants.«
