Australia’s leading supplier of auto parts Bapcor LTD. selects Manhattan Associates to support its rapid business growth

Manhattan Associates Inc. (NASDAQ: MANH) today announced that Bapcor, Australasia’s leading supplier of automotive aftermarket parts, accessories, automotive equipment and services, plans to implement Manhattan’s Warehouse Management Solution (WMS) across its Australian distribution centres (DCs) network, starting with the first implementation that took place last month at their Nunawading DC.
The solution will automate and optimise order fulfilment across Bapcor’s supply chain as the company continues its strong growth trajectory.
Due to its rapid business growth and plans for further expansion, Bapcor has undertaken a strategic program which includes a re-evaluation of its network of DCs. As part of this, Bapcor plans to streamline its supply chain by incorporating distribution to all of its stores from upgraded and new warehouses and is investing in Manhattan’s market-leading WMS to ensure order fulfilment is optimised and fully automated across its upgraded supply chain network.
Manhattan’s WMS will provide Bapcor with a common, scalable solution to underpin its domestic and international growth. The solution provides improved visibility of inventory and data, increased product availability and is expected to drive improvements in operational efficiency across its supply network. With a more flexible fulfilment approach and improved service levels, Manhattan’s WMS enables Bapcor to drive further business growth, revenue and profitability.
