Participants meeting 2022: 100% logistics IT with «warehouse logistics«

On November 03, 2022, after a two-year break due to the pandemic, the 21st Participants Meeting will finally take place again at the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics IML in Dortmund. This year the motto is »100 % logistics IT«.

You can look forward to the exciting opening lecture by Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Michael ten Hompel. He will address the topic of moving into the digital continuum and introduce the event. This will be followed by a contribution from »Team warehouse logistics« about news and current developments on the »warehouse logistics« platform.

This year, the interactive »World Café« will be back again, where various topics related to logistics IT will be discussed. We offer you, as a participant of the database, the opportunity to exchange ideas on topics such as sustainability in the field of logistics IT, mobile robotics as well as open source software or Open Logistics Foundation, human resource planning and TMS.

Within the program item Innovation Exchange, scientists of the Fraunhofer Institute will present in a stimulating exchange the latest developments on topics such as implementation of the digital waybill in practice, new possibilities of image processing in logistics and ergonomic resource planning in order picking. The aim is to broaden the participants' range of knowledge and show them new possibilities regarding logistics IT.

You can also look forward to a presentation by Philipp Wrycza, who will give you insights into the »Logistics booth: the out of the box operating system for returnables«.
