ALBERT VIDAL IS THE NEW CEO OF TGW SOUTH EUROPE

The experienced manager succeeds David Bendien, whose responsibility as Senior Vice President of Lifetime Services encompasses after-sales on a global level • TGW South Europe employs more than 250 people for the planning, realisation and ongoing support and maintenance of highly-automated logistics centres • Customers such as Leroy Merlin, Mango, Ahorramas, Decathlon, HiperDino and Mayoral put their trust in TGW technology

At the end of September, Albert Vidal became the new Chief Executive Officer of TGW South Europe. Thus, the seasoned intralogistics expert has taken on responsibility for the Spanish, Portuguese and French markets. He succeeds David Bendien, who is Senior Vice President of Lifetime Services and thus responsible for TGW's international after-sales business.

Albert Vidal brings comprehensive corporate management and team development skills to his new role as Chief Executive Officer of TGW South Europe, having experience in such areas as business development, sales and innovation management. Following his communications engineering studies and an MBA degree, he specialised in the areas of technology and intralogistics automation. Prior to his current position at TGW Logistics, Albert Vidal was a Managing Director at Element Logic in Spain and Business Unit Director at Mecalux.
