Participating for the 10th time - IGZ at Hannover Messe 2024

26.04.2024

HANNOVER MESSE has been the hotspot for industry for more than 70 years. IGZ was represented as an exhibitor at the world's leading trade fair for industry for the 10th time from April 22 to 26, 2024. This year, around 4,000 exhibitors presented their solutions for a digital, networked and, above all, sustainable industry and met more than 130,000 visitors from all over the world.

Under this year's guiding theme »Energizing a Sustainable Industry«, the organizers deliberately focused on the topics of sustainability and climate protection in business and industry and highlighted the contribution that digitalization, automation and renewable energies can make in combination.

In this context, manufacturing execution systems (MES) make a significant contribution to the digitalization of production processes. IGZ showcased its wide range of SAP DIGITAL MANUFACTURING (SAP DM) solutions for discrete manufacturing and the process industry.

With the help of selected IGZ use cases, trade visitors were able to see for themselves how SAP Digital Manufacturing can be used to optimize production processes. Our worker assistance system IDA3 was a particular highlight for our visitors from the discrete industry. This system makes the »zero-defect« strategy for an assembly process and your Factory of Excellence a reality. For visitors with a focus on the process industry, we had prepared solutions based on SAP Digital Manufacturing for weighing and dispensing as well as electronic work instructions.

Our annual, traditional IGZ Zoigl evening with Zoigl beer and Bavarian specialties was again very well received by all guests and was also a special highlight for us.
We would like to thank all visitors for the exciting discussions and the great interest and look forward to seeing you again from 31.03. - 04.04.2025 at the next Hannover Messe!
