Körber welcomes Dr. Helena Garriga as new Group Executive Board Member and President Business Area Supply Chain

Hamburg, 02 September 2024 – As of 01 September 2024, Dr. Helena Garriga has taken on her new role as Group Executive Board Member and President of Körber's Business Area Supply Chain. Her appointment is a pivotal step in Körber's strategy to drive innovation and sustainable growth even further.
Dr. Helena Garriga joins Körber from Hitachi Energy, Zurich (Switzerland), where she served as Group Vice President, leading the global Power & Industry Components business. Prior to that, she held several management positions at ABB, also based in Switzerland, where she successfully developed several subsidiaries in energy and automation. She started her professional career at ZS Associates, a management consultancy in the USA. Dr. Helena Garriga studied engineering and holds a PhD in Operations Research from ETH Zurich, a Master in Industrial Engineering from Columbia University, New York (USA), Ecole Centrale Paris (France), and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Barcelona (Spain).
Dr. Helena Garriga’s vision and expertise will be crucial in strengthening Körber's global market position as a provider of end-to-end supply chain solutions that ensure seamless integration and optimization from warehousing and logistics to production and delivery, enhancing efficiency, visibility, and sustainability across global supply chains.
