Körber appoints António Conde as CEO of the Business Unit Parcel Logistics

01.04.2025

The international technology group Körber has appointed António Conde as CEO of its Business Unit Parcel Logistics. In this role, he will be responsible for the strategic development and operational management of Körber’s parcel logistics activities in the European region. The Business Unit Parcel Logistics is part of Körber’s Business Area Supply Chain, which boasts strong production capabilities in Europe and the United States.

António Conde reports directly to Dr. Helena Garriga, Member of the Group Executive Board of Körber AG and responsible for the Business Area Supply Chain. »António’s extensive experience in supply chain and logistics, combined with his proven leadership within our organization, makes him the ideal choice to drive the targeted growth of our Business Unit Parcel Logistics,« said Dr. Helena Garriga.

Conde has been with Körber since 2017 – initially as Director of Operations and Deputy CEO of the Business Unit Supply Chain Automation in Portugal, a subsidiary of the Group specializing in automation and palletizing solutions. In 2019, he was appointed CEO of this Portuguese unit. During his tenure, he led significant R&D projects, enhanced customer orientation, and drove sustainable business growth.

Prior to joining Körber, António Conde held various senior leadership positions at Bosch for more than 15 years. He played a key role in the successful transformation of a production site in Aveiro, Portugal, which under his leadership became one of the Bosch Group’s top-performing plants.

The appointment of António Conde supports Körber’s strategic goal of further expanding its market position in parcel logistics – especially in light of the acquisition of the mail and parcel business from Siemens Logistics in 2022. Under his leadership, Körber aims to continuously develop and further integrate its solutions portfolio in this area to meet the growing demands for efficiency and innovation along global supply chains.
