Hawle Deutschland creates a unified CRM platform for Office-Based Personnel and Filed Sales Force with SAP Sales Cloud

26.06.2026

Hawle Deutschland Armaturen GmbH, together with FIS Informationssysteme und Consulting GmbH, has realigned its CRM landscape and established SAP Sales Cloud as the central platform for for office-based personnel and field sales force. The aim of the project was to break down existing data silos and enable consistent, transparent customer support.

The starting point was a historically grown system landscape with parallel CRM solutions: while the field sales team was already working with SAP Sales Cloud, the inside sales team continued to use functions in the ERP system. A lack of synchronization led to high coordination effort, media disruptions and an inconsistent data basis. »Customer data was not synchronized and documents were not replicated. This made day-to-day work very difficult,« explains Mario Voitswinkler, Sales Director at Hawle Deutschland.

As part of the project, all inquiry-related processes were systematically transferred to SAP Sales Cloud. To support this, the central email inbox was connected so that incoming inquiries can be processed directly as tickets in the system. At the same time, existing data was migrated in order to create a single source of truth.

The go-live in July 2025 took place during ongoing operations and was largely disruption-free. Close collaboration between Hawle and FIS, as well as fast response times, contributed significantly to the success of the project.

With the new solution, office-based personnel and field sales force now work on a shared platform. All relevant information is available centrally, coordination takes place directly in the system and is transparent and traceable for everyone involved. »All employees access the same information and can work together seamlessly,« says Voitswinkler.

The unified data basis reduces coordination effort, speeds up the processing of customer inquiries and strengthens the foundation for individual customer support. Building on these successes, Hawle plans to integrate additional processes such as orders and lead management into SAP Sales Cloud in the future.
